1 Dead, 1 Grave After Vehicle Overturns In Pacoima And Lands Upside Down Off Freeway
PACOIMA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say one person was killed when a vehicle overturned in Pacoima on Saturday.
The crash was reported just before 5:30 p.m. on Laurel Canyon Boulevard, where one woman was pronounced dead.
Firefighters said another woman was taken to the hospital and is in grave condition.
The CHP believes the car may have flipped over an interchange between the 118 and 5 Freeways.
A SIG Alert was issued just before 6 p.m. affecting the northbound 5 and the eastbound 118.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
