VIDEO: Baby Grey Whale Washes Close To Shore Near The Wedge

NEWPORT BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Some Orange County beach-goers got a big surprise when they saw a baby grey whale close to shore.

The estimated 20-foot whale struggled as the waves brought it closer to the shore near The Wedge in Newport Beach.

Beach-goers say more waves carried it back to sea a few minutes later.
