3 Dead, 2 Wounded In Apparent Murder-Suicide In Panorama City

PANORAMA CITY (CBSLA.com)  —  Police in Panorama City confirm that three people are dead and two more wounded in an apparent murder-suicide.

The incident occurred in the 8500 block of Cedros Street at Chase.

Authorities said a man killed his ex-girlfriend's underage daughters and then turned the gun on himself.

The Los Angeles Fire Department said they were dispatched to the scene around 7:30 p.m.

KCAL9's Jennifer Kastner reported from the scene.

She talked to a neighbor who heard the incident happen.

"I was  just down the street walking my dog," said Alexa Gonzalez, "and I heard four gunshots. As first I thought they were fireworks. And then later on, I found out, I noticed the cops started coming."

The LAPD told her the ex-boyfriend got into a fight with his ex-girlfriend. Police said he shot the woman and her 20-year-old son.  He then shot the two daughters, 13 and 17-years-old.

The woman and her son are in stable condition, Kastner reported.

The investigation is on-going.
