Actress Madeleine Stowe Says She Was Naked, Terrified Being Robbed At Gunpoint

BEVERLY HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Actress Madeleine Stowe said she was naked and terrified when an intruder broke into her Beverly Hills house and robbed her of thousands of dollars worth of her jewelry, TMZ reported.

According to TMZ, she was asleep with her husband, actor Brian Benben, in September 2015 when a noise woke her up, she recalled.

As she went to the master bathroom to investigate, the intruder pointed a handgun to her neck and demanded her valuables.

The former "Revenge" star said she handed over $75,000 worth of jewelry.

Benben was home Monday night but did not want to speak on camera.

Police arrested the suspected robber, Walter Canizalez, in January. He remains in jail facing several robbery charges.

TMZ reported when Canizalez was arrested, he was wearing a Spiderman mask, which he wore during some of his alleged holdups.
