Fire Reportedly Damages Classrooms At Redlands Church

REDLANDS (CBSLA.com) — Firefighters battled a blaze at a Redlands church Tuesday, authorities said.

The fire was reported shortly before 1 p.m. at Pathway Church located at 611 E. Cypress Avenue at Redlands Boulevard, according to a Redlands Fire Department spokesperson.

Flames were seen rising from a section of the church's roof before crews made quick work of the fire.

The fire gutted classrooms in the church, according to reports.

It wasn't immediately known how the blaze began.
