Father Calls 'Sugar' Shane Mosley 'Great Human Being' For Saving His Son After Car Crash

WOODLAND HILLS (CBSLA.com) — A family whose two-year-old son was saved from a car wreck by "Sugar" Shane Mosley says the world champion boxer is a "great human being."

Mosley and his girlfriend rescued Dylan Levy after the toddler and his father were involved in a four-car collision on the northbound 405 Freeway near the 105 interchange Sunday afternoon.

"Honestly, only selfless acts. I mean, it was helping get Dylan out of the car, helping me get out of the car, making sure I was OK, getting me to the ambulance," said Dylan's dad, Aaron Levy.

Dylan and his dad were both rushed to a hospital. The world-class champion, who has won eight belts, even followed the ambulance to make sure they were okay. He even brought along Dylan's baby bag,

"You don't know if the car is going to catch fire, what's going to happen. Seeing there's a baby in there," the boxer told CBS2/KCAL9's Brittney Hopper exclusively Sunday night.

They family did not know their hero was a boxing legend until they met.

"I mean it was kind of like an incredible, only in L.A.-type of moment. It was quite incredible that he put himself out there. But he was just being a great human being," said Levy.

Dylan suffered only minor injuries and is expected to make a full recovery.
