3 Pregnant Border Collies Found Dumped On Streets In Pasadena
PASADENA (CBSLA.com) — The Pasadena Humane Society urged the public Friday to remain vigilant of the dangers of animal dumping.
During the past two weeks, animal control officers rescued three different pregnant Border Collies who were found wandering in the streets of Pasadena and other surrounding cities.
Officials said the dogs will remain in the care of foster families until their puppies are old enough to be adopted.
Authorities believe one person may be responsible for leaving the dogs on the street. The motive for each incident remains unclear at this time.
According to animal control officers, dog dumping is a misdemeanor.
The investigation is ongoing.
