Caught On Video: 2 Burglars Use Rock To Break Into Burbank Pharmacy

BURBANK (CBSLA.com) — Two men used a large rock to smash through the glass door of a drug store, and police need the public's help to identify and track them down.

The break-in happened on Feb. 24 at about 5:15 a.m. at a pharmacy on North Glenoaks Boulevard. The business and its address were withheld, Burbank police Sgt. Claudio Losacco said.

The two burglars broke into the pharmacy by hurling a large rock through the glass door of the business, then broke open the cash register and took cash. They tried to get into a secure area of the pharmacy, where narcotics were stored, but were not able to get in, Losacco said.

The two fled on foot.

Both suspects were described as being between 17 and 23 years old, wearing hoodies and backpacks. The first was described as a Hispanic male wearing a Nike hoodie, jeans, and an LA Dodgers ball cap. The second suspect was African American, wearing an Ecko hoodie, Vans sneakers, black gloves and wearing a Jansport backpack.

Anyone with information about the burglary or these suspects can call Burbank police detectives at (818) 238-3210.
