WINNETKA (CBSLA.com) Authorities have formally charged a 24-year-old man with killing his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend at her Winnetka apartment building.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office announced Friday that  Brian Gonzales,  AKA Brian Hammons, faces two counts of murder with special circumstance allegations of murder during the commission of a kidnapping and multiple murders.

Gonzales also faces allegations that he used and fired a handgun in the commission of the crimes in the incident.
