3 Killed -- Including Teen -- In Single-Vehicle Rollover Crash Near Murrieta

MURRIETA (CBSLA.com) —  Authorities said three males were killed  -- including a 13-year-old -- in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Route 79 near Murrieta.

The crash occurred around 1:50 a.m. Saturday between  Murrieta and an unincorporated area of Riverside County, authorities said.

The teen was identified by the county coroner's office as Kile Kennedy III of Hemet.

Murrieta Police Sgt. Dave Baca said the three victims were in a silver 2002 Lexus 300 that veered off the road, through a guardrail and into an open dirt field.

All were pronounced dead at the scene, Baca said.
