Christmas Eve Baby Delivered By Firefighters At Moreno Valley Circle K

MORENO VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — A woman went into labor Thursday at a Circle K convenience store in Moreno Valley and firefighters delivered the baby inside the business.

The labor was reported at 3:48 p.m., inside the store on the corner of Cactus Avenue and Elsworth Street, April Newman of Cal Fire Riverside said.

Firefighters assisted in the delivery, then allowed the father to cut the umbilical cord, Newman said.

The mother and newborn were taken by ambulance to a hospital.
