2 Killed, 2 Injured After Vehicle Crashes Into Parking Structure In Burbank

BURBANK (CBSLA.com) — Police investigated a deadly traffic collision Saturday that occurred in Burbank.

Just after 7:30 p.m. on Friday, authorities received calls reporting a traffic collision had occurred in the area of Santa Anita Street at Sixth Avenue, according to the Burbank Police Department.

Upon their arrival, officers located a sedan crashed into the support pillar of an apartment complex parking garage, located in the south alley.

According to police, four occupants were found inside the vehicle.

The driver and front seat passenger, who are believed to be in their late 60s to early 70s, were transported to L.A. County USC Medical Center with serious injuries. At this time, they both remain listed in stable condition.

A man and woman believed to be in their 70s who sat in the back seat of the vehicle were transported to SJMC in Burbank where they later died.

The victim's identities are being withheld pending family notification.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
