Detectives Probe Death Of 20-Something Woman Found In Castaic Home

CASTAIC (CBSLA.com)  —   Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Detectives are investigating the cause of death of a 20-something woman found dead inside a home in Castaic.

The woman was found Saturday, at approximately 8:38 am, in the 36000 block of Paradise Ranch Road, officials said.

The woman was reportedly found unresponsive by her husband. The husband called 911 and alerted authorities.

The unidentified victim was transported to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Detectives said the woman appeared to have suffered physical trauma to her upper torso. It is unknown if her injuries are related to her cause of death.

The cause of death will be determined by an autopsy.

No arrests have been made.

The investigation is on-going.
