Fans Commemorate Southland Places Seen In 'Future'

BURBANK (CBSLA.com) — Great Scott! With "Back to the Future" fans celebrating Marty McFly's journey to Oct. 21, 2015, many marked the date with celebrations at various filming sites around the Southland.

In the second installment of the time-travel trilogy "Back to the Future," Marty McFly and mad scientist, Dr. Emmett Brown, take a space-time-continuum-defying trip in a tricked-out DeLorean to Hill Valley, Calif. on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015 at precisely 4:29 p.m.

On Wednesday, fans gathered at two spots in particular: a Burbank Burger King and Puente Hills Mall, which were both used in the "Back To The Future" movies as filming locations.
