LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — After going through a succesful round of chemotherapy treatments for leukemia, Turner Sports reporter Craig Sager will be back on the sideline for the NBA’s opening night when the Warriors take on the Pelicans.

The veteran broadcaster is known for his outlandish and colorful outfits.

After being released from the hospital on October 8th, Sager has been able to stay at his home without incident.

He was able to leave the hospital 18 days early in what was suppose to be a 100-day stay.

Sager was diagnosed with leukemia in 2014, and as part of his treatment, received bone-marrow and stem-cell transplants from his son, Craig Jr.
