1 Dead, 1 Wounded In Pacoima Shooting

PACOIMA (CBSLA.com)  —  Authorities say one man is dead and another one wounded following a shooting in Pacoima.

Police said they were searching for the shooter.

The incident happened about noon in the 13600 block of Pinny Street, according to LAPD Sgt. Bead Miller.

One of the victims was taken to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, where he later died, Miller said.

A second male was shot by the same suspect and was being treated for injuries, the sergeant said. That victim is in stable condition.

No suspect description was immediately available, Miller said.

An investigation into the murder and attempted murder is ongoing.
