LAKE BALBOA (CBSLA.com) — As many as five people have been injured in a crash involving a Los Angeles police SUV in the Lake Balboa area.

The crash happened at about 2 p.m. in the 7800 block of Louise Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Officers from LAPD’s West Valley division were parked at the curb when the SUV they were in was rear-ended from the back. A Prius bearing the logo of the City of Los Angeles also appeared to have been involved in the crash.

The two officers in the SUV suffered minor injuries.
