2 Women In Their 60s Struck By Van In Seal Beach

SEAL BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say two women in their 60s have been taken to a hospital after being struck by a car in Seal Beach.

The crash happened about 6:45 p.m. Monday at Fifth Street and Marina Drive.

Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Steve Concialdi said both trauma patients were taken to Long Beach Memorial Hospital.

One of the women was believed to be in serious condition, while the other was said to be in moderate condition.

Concialdi said the driver of the commercial van that struck the women remained at the scene.
