Agoura Woman Wakes To Find Burglar In Her Bedroom

AGOURA (CBSLA.com) — An Agoura woman awoke Friday to find a burglar in her bedroom.

The unidentified woman said she woke up just after 5:10 a.m. to find the man in her bedroom.

The woman lives in the 29000 block of Silver Creek Road.

A female resident at the location told deputies with the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station that she screamed when she encountered the man.

A male resident of the residence came running and confronted the suspect, who then proceeded to flee.

The witnesses said the suspect fled in a Jeep Cherokee, 1995-2000, white with black mirrors.

The suspect apparently entered through an unlocked patio door. He is described as Latino, 25-30 years old, 5-foot-7, about 150 pounds, with short, dark hair.
