WEST HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Two people were injured in a large house fire in West Hills Saturday evening.

The home is located in the 6500 block of N. Ellenview Avenue, where firefighters were still working to put out hot spots on Sunday morning.

Police were looking into the possibility that drugs, or drug activity, may have either caused or contributed to the fire.

When firefighters arrived shortly after 10 p.m., they said the roof had collapsed. The home was a total loss.

Arsonists remained on the scene with authorities on Sunday morning, investigating the cause of the fire.

Two males sustained moderate burns from the fire.
