Public's Help Sought In Search For Missing Palmdale Couple

PALMDALE (CBSLA.com) — Detectives are seeking the public's assistance in locating an elderly couple last seen Monday at their son's residence in Palmdale.

Leonard and Helen Hagberg left the home, located in the 200 block of Taos Place, around 11 p.m., according to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department.

The Hagbergs, who suffer from Alzheimer's and dementia, are believed to be driving a black, 2003 Honda Pilot with an Idaho license plate #2F39495.

Mr. Hagberg is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, 190 pounds, and has gray hair, blue eyes and wears glasses.  He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue shirt.

Mrs. Hagberg is described as 5 feet tall, 200 pounds, and has short, gray hair, brown eyes and wears glasses. She was last seen wearing cream colored capri pants and a pink and white striped shirt.

Both are easily confused and require medication, authorities say.
