Man Killed, Woman Wounded In Canyon Country Shootings
SANTA CLARITA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities said shootings Wednesday in Canyon Country left a man dead and a woman injured.
The situation unfolded just after 4:20 p.m. at the Sierra Canyon Apartments in the 27500 block of Sierra Highway.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the woman was taken to a hospital, where she is stable.
Investigators are searching for two suspects, one of whom they know the identity, according to KCAL9's Rachel Kim.
The motive for the shootings remains unknown.
"Pretty much all the neighbors came out saying that someone knocked on an apartment door and shot the guy and then shot the, I guess, his wife and then just fled the scene in a black car," said Sevag Kurdian, a neighbor.
