'Where Hope Grows' To Open In Theaters May 15

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Actors David DeSanctis, Kristoffer Polaha, and McKaley Miller joined us on KCAL9 Tuesday to talk about their new film "Where Hope Grows."

"Where Hope Grows" is an inspiring story about Calvin Campbell, played by Polaha, a professional baseball player who was sent to an early retirement due to panic attacks at the plate.

You may recognize Miller from "The Hart Dixie," and Polaha from "Mad Men" and "Awkward." DeSanctis is one of the only actors with Down Syndrome to be cast as a leading character in a motion picture.

The movie has been rated PG-13, and will open in the U.S. on Friday May 15.
