Damaged Wire Disrupts Metro Gold Line Service In South Pasadena

SOUTH PASADENA (CBSLA.com) — Train delays were expected Thursday for commuters who travel along the Gold Line in South Pasadena.

According to Metro officials, damage to an overhead wire has disrupted service along the Gold Line between the South Pasadena and Southwest Museum stations.

Bus shuttles are expected to replace train service between the stations, however, delays are expected as a result at other stations as well.

Officials are working to make repairs to the damaged wires. It remains unclear what time service will be restored.

Commuters who normally take the Gold Line are urged to allow for extra travel time this morning.
