Public's Help Sought To Locate 2 Armed Robbery Suspects In Fontana

FONTANA (CBSLA.com) — Detectives sought the public's help Monday to locate two robbery suspects who held a man at gunpoint outside of his home.

According to the Fontana Police Department, officers were sent around 8:25 p.m. Sunday to a home located in the 7600 block of Niagara Court for report of a robbery.

A preliminary investigation revealed the victim was approached by two male suspects, who demanded his jewelry at gunpoint, after he parked in front of his residence.

The suspects proceeded to rip the jewelry from the victim's body. They then fled in a black Nissan Sedan that has tinted windows.

The value of the stolen jewelry has not been clarified.

No injuries were reported during the incident.

Detectives described the first suspect as a 35 year old black man who has a mustache, stands 5-foot-11 tall and weighs 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with dark jeans.

The second suspect was described as a 34 year old black man who has a beard, stands 5-foot-8 tall and weighs 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and khaki jeans, detectives added.

Officers explained both suspects displayed handguns during the incident, which were black and silver in color.
