Portion Of Hollywood Blvd. Closed After Vehicle Crashed Into Pedestrian

HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — A portion of Hollywood Boulevard was shut down Friday after a vehicle crashed into a pedestrian.

The accident was reported at 2:50 a.m. at Whitley Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, police said.

The driver of a four-door Mercedes struck the victim and remained on scene.

The pedestrian was transported to a hospital in unknown condition.
