LAFD Firefighters Knock Down Pallet Yard Fire In South LA
SOUTH LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Friday battled a fire at a pallet yard in South Los Angeles.
The fire was first reported around 3:30 a.m. at 48th Place and Long Beach Avenue near the L.A. Poultry Company, according to the LAFD.
It took 72 firefighters 68 minutes to knock down the flames.
The cause was under investigation.
A damage estimate was not yet available.
