Amtrak Train Stopped In Fullerton After Someone Called In A Bomb Threat

FULLERTON (CBSLA.com) An Amtrak train was stopped and evacuated in Fullerton Sunday after officials said someone called in a threat.

The train was evacuated at the Fullerton Station at 120 E. Santa Fe Ave. because Amtrak said a suspicious device was also found on board.

The threat, reported Gordon Spencer in Sky9, was called in just before 7 p.m.

Passengers were transported to the next southbound stop in Anaheim.

By 8:30 p.m., the train was given the all-clear by Fullerton Police and the Orange County Sheriff's Department's bomb squad.
