Suspect Struck In Officer-Involved Shooting In South L.A.

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Authorities continued to investigate the circumstances surrounding an officer-involved shooting in South Los Angeles.

The incident unfolded about 3:03 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of 43rd Place, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Police confirm that a suspect was struck but the extent of that person's injuries was not known.

They further confirmed the suspect was taken into custody.

No officers were injured.

What led up to the shooting remained unknown.
