Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Feb. 3)

STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — There's some patchy dense fog Tuesday morning, which should break up after 9:00 a.m. We will be left with some hazy sunshine and a few high clouds passing overhead.

A ridge of high pressure will be the dominant weather feature keeping temperatures above average for this time of year.

The ridge will also continue to act as a blocking mechanism — that means any chance for showers will shoot over the Southland into the Central Coast and Northern California.

Temperatures will stay in the middle 70s through the rest of the week and into the weekend.

There could be some cooling at the beginning of next week, but then another high pressure ridge develops over the west. So the possibility of rain for Los Angeles continues to be elusive.
