Manhattan Beach Community Warned To Be Vigilant After Residents Walk In On Armed Burglar

MANHATTAN BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Some people came home Friday night to their Manhattan Beach home only to find a masked man with a gun running out the back door, dropping their belongings as he fled.

It happened around 9:10 p.m. in the 800 block of 11th Street, Manhattan Beach police reported.

The burglar entered the home through a downstairs window.

He was described as white, in his 20s and six feet tall with a thin build. He wore a ski mask, a long-sleeved shirt, pants, shoes and gloves – all of them black.

Police urge Manhattan Beach residents to be vigilant and to call 911 if they spot suspicious activity.
