70-Year-Old Man Who Suffers From Dementia Reported Missing In LA

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Police sought the public's help Sunday in locating a 70-year-old man reported missing yesterday morning.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Federico Nabarro Meija was last seen walking around 11:00 a.m. Saturday from the 600 block of Maple Street, toward a store located on the corner of 7th Street and San Pedro Street.

Meija's family explained they are extremely concerned for his welfare as he suffers from dementia, and is not familiar with the area.

Detectives described him as a Hispanic man that stands 5-foot-3 tall, weighs 115 pounds, has grey hair, brown eyes and a beard.

He was last seen wearing a light blue jacket, grey slacks, brown boots and a cowboy hat.
