Man Fatally Shot In Azusa During Possible Robbery
AZUSA (CBSLA.com) — Detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department are investigating the shooting death of a man in Azusa.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives were dispatched to the 400 Block of South Azusa Avenue around 4:35 a.m. Friday to assist Azusa police with an investigation into the death.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
City News Service said the victim was 37 and quoted police who believe the murder might have occurred during the commission of a robbery.
The victim's name was withheld pending notification of his next of kin.
