Seventh-Grade Teacher Arrested In Fullerton On Suspicion Of Child Molestation

FULLERTON (CBSLA.com) — A 36-year-old man remained in custody Friday for allegedly molesting a girl.

Fullerton Police Sgt. Kathryn Hamel said Christopher Millette is accused of molesting a girl under the age of 10. He was arrested around noon Wednesday, Fullerton police said.

"Fullerton detectives followed up on the complaint and arrested Mr. Millette," Hamel told KNX 1070's Mike Landa.

Officers explained Millette was employed as a seventh grade science teacher at the Valadez Middle School in Placentia.

"This case is not related to the school," said Police Chief Dan Hughes. "There are no known victims associated with his employment."

Millette is due in court Monday, Landa said.
