Probe Underway After Man's Body Is Found In South L.A.
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say they are investigating what appears to be a shooting death in South Los Angeles.
Police say a man was found dead around 6:30 a.m. Saturday in an alley near a post office at 82nd Street and Vermont Avenue.
Late Saturday night, City News Service said the Los Angeles County coroner's office identified the man as Isiah Willis Stinson of Los Angeles.
Police have no witnesses but are hoping video surveillance will assist them in their investigation.
No further information was available.
