Burned Body Found Behind Inglewood Market

INGLEWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Police Wednesday were investigating the death of a man after his burned body was discovered behind a market.

A fire was reported just after 6 a.m. behind the store near the intersection of La Brea Avenue and 94th Street in Inglewood, the Inglewood Police Department said.

The fire was knocked down at 6:19 a.m. by the LA County Fire Department, who then discovered the body.

The victim's identity has not been released.

Arson investigators were responding to the scene.
