Goodell: No NFL Team Will Move To Los Angeles For 2015

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) - Los Angeles will have to wait at least another year for a chance of the NFL returning to second-largest television market in the country.

According to ESPN, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has told San Diego, St. Louis and Oakland that neither of them will be moving to L.A. next season.

The Chargers announced on Dec. 16 that they will renew their lease with Qualcomm Stadium for 2015 season.

Dean Spanos will continue efforts on building a brand-new stadium for the team who has been playing at the old Qualcomm stadium since 1967.

Ever since 2009, the Chargers have been on a year-to-year lease with Qualcomm.
