Detectives Seek Help Identifying 3 Men Accused Of Stealing Electronics From LA Stores

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Detectives sought the public's help Friday in identifying three suspects accused of stealing electronics from mobile phone businesses on several occasions.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, two of the men were seen on surveillance video entering a store located in the 4300 block of Glencoe Avenue, where they used pliers to cut security wires off a display and fled with products.

They were also captured on video at a second store located in the 8900 block of Venice Boulevard, where they again cut security wires off display products and fled with them. They were seen getting into a vehicle, which was driven by a third suspect.

On Dec. 10, one of the suspects entered a store located in the 1800 block of Slauson Avenue and used wire cutters to remove several smartphones from the display area. A second suspect was seen standing near the entrance to the store as a lookout.

Video shows the suspects then fleeing from the scene in a vehicle driven by the third suspect.

Police did not disclose the names of the mobile phone businesses that were robbed.

Detectives described the first suspect as a Hispanic man that stands 5-foot-10 tall and weighs 190 pounds.

The second suspect was described as a Hispanic male that stands 5-foot-8 tall and weighs 150 pounds.

The third suspect was seen only driving a tan-colored 2000 Chevy Malibu, police explained.
