3 Critically Injured In Shooting At Hyde Park Party

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Three people remained hospitalized in critical condition Sunday after being shot at during a party last night in Hyde Park.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers were sent around 9:30 p.m. Saturday to the area of 54th Street and Second Avenue.

Once on scene, officers found several bullet casings at the scene.

According to police, the male suspect, described as being around 20 to 30-years-old, was allegedly involved in a disagreement with others, and left the party.

He soon returned with a female accomplice, and allegedly fired several shots, before fleeing on foot from the scene.

Between 50 to 60 people attended the party, which was reportedly hosted by bikers; however, only three people were critically injured in the shooting.

Officials said they expect all of the victims to survive.

No arrests have been made at this time.
