Man Robs Chase Bank In San Clemente

SAN CLEMENTE (CBSLA.com) — Police are searching for a man who robbed a Chase bank branch Monday in San Clemente.

The heist took place around 3:40 p.m. at 905 North El Camino Real, Orange County Sheriff's Dept. spokesperson Lt. Jeff Hallock said.

The man tossed a note at a teller indicating he had a weapon. He was able to flee on foot with an unspecified amount of cash, Hallock said.

The suspect was described as five feet 10 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds.
