Bill Cosby Pal Hugh Hefner Speaks Out About Sexual Abuse Allegations

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) —  Longtime Bill Cosby friend Hugh Hefner -- founder of the Playboy empire -- spoke out Saturday about the many sexual abuse and rape allegations being lodged against the legendary comic.

Earlier this week, one alleged Cosby victim said she was sexually abused at the Playboy mansion in 1974 when she was only 15.

Judith Huth said Cosby told her to pretend she was 19, plied her with alcohol and sexually molested her.

Hefner said in a statement, "Bill Cosby has been a good friend for many years and the mere thought of these allegations is truly saddening."

He added, "I would never tolerate this kind of behavior regardless of who was involved."

Huth and attorney Gloria Allred met with LAPD for nearly two hours Friday, three days after filing a lawsuit against Cosby.

The comic and his attorney Martin Singer have denied any wrongdoing. They also said Huth was trying to extort Cosby.
