Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Dec. 5)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Look for a mix of clouds and sunshine Friday. Temps will top out in the upper 60s to near 70.

There is another front pushing through the area and it will translate into rain for folks who live north of Santa Barbara. As the system pushes west to east through the evening, there may even be a sprinkle in Ventura County, but the front really loses it's punch on the south end.

Look for clearing conditions Saturday and temperatures similar to Friday's highs. Not a bad weekend on tap — there will be a little bit of warming as we head into next week.

There are a couple of waves of energy moving into the west coast through next week, but they will only result in some clouds from time to time.

But late next week, the next big storm is headed our way. The time frame would be Thursday to Saturday. This one does look like a good rain maker and we could snow levels drop a bit.
