12 High-End Drones Valued At $600,000 Stolen From Corona Manufacturer

CORONA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say someone has made off with 12 high-end drones valued at $600,000 from a manufacturer in Riverside County.

According to detectives, the suspect or suspects on Tuesday threw rocks through the windows of PMG Multirotors in Corona.

The suspects then used a wheelbarrow to haul out the devices used for films and aerial photography.

"To have something like that happen right under our noses is just even, even more of a slap in the face," said a company director.

He added: "And especially the way it did. One rock through one window, another rock through another window. Walking in and out with a wheelbarrow. It's been really hard for all of use to take in."

The company said it was the third burglary at the business this year.

Company officials said they are looking into alternative security options.
