Macarthur Park Book Store Engulfed In Flames
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A commercial office building is engulfed in flames Friday evening.
The fire is burning in the Macarthur Park area, specifically on Alvarado at 8th Street.
Stu Mundel in Sky2 said it "is out of control."
The fire was reported just before 11 p.m.
According to the fire department, arriving units found smoke showing and fire in the attic.
The business was identified as the Ebenezer Book Store, a Christian book store located at 20130 W. 8th Street.
Fire crews had the blaze knocked down by 11:15 p.m.
Mundel reported no firefighters or civilians were injured.
