2 LAPD Officers Sustain Minor Injuries In Mid-City Crash

MID-CITY (CBSLA.com) — Two officers with the Los Angeles Police Department were injured in a traffic collision in Mid-City.

The accident involving an LAPD cruiser happened at 9:21 p.m. Monday at Crenshaw Boulevard and St. Charles Place.

The incident was initially reported as an "officer needs help" call, authorities said.

First responders transported the officers to a hospital.

They had sustained minor injuries, reported Sky9's Stu Mundel.

No further information was immediately available.
