1 Killed, 2 Injured In Carson Stabbing

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the stabbing death Wednesday of a male victim and the wounding of three other victims in Carson.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, deputies were sent just before 3:00 p.m. to the 1600 block of East 218th Street for report of an assault with a deadly weapon.

Once on scene, officials pronounced an 18-year-old Hispanic man dead at the scene. He suffered from a fatal stab wound to his upper torso.

Two other Hispanic victims, a 15-year-old and a 18-year-old,  were transported to a hospital for treatment of stab wounds to their upper torsos. Their condition is unknown at this time.

According to deputies, two male suspects were detained, however, no further information has been provided.

The victim's identity will be held pending notification of family members.
