Cat's Head Found With Note In Apple Valley

VICTORVILLE (CBSLA.com) — Investigators with the San Bernardino Sheriff's Department were investigating reports Friday of a severed cat head found in Apple Valley.

The cat head was found Thursday on Ottawa Street between Tamiani and Mohawk, according to Apple Valley Animal Control Officer Kathie Matin.

The decapitation was not from natural causes, Matin said.

A note was also found with the head, but it was not immediately clear what its contents were, she said.

No other details were available.
