Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Oct. 9)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — A healthy marine layer has developed and that's going to keep the weather Thursday on the cooler side. Highs will top out in the upper 70s and low 80s.

The low clouds should clear out before lunch time making way for a nice day. Look for a mild Friday as well before a bigger warm up over the weekend.

Expect a ridge of high pressure to nose into the west coast on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. That means temperatures will be well above average once again. Inland highs will be at the doorstep of 100 degrees.

By the middle of next week, a big trough moves into the west coast meaning much cooler weather. In fact, the long range models are hinting at moisture towards the end of next week.
