Classes Held Despite Internet Threat To Lake Elsinore High School

LAKE ELSINORE (CBSLA.com) — School was open Monday despite rumors of a campus threat at Temescal Canyon High School.

Rumors surfaced Friday on social media about a shooting threat made against the school, located on El Toro Road in Lake Elsinore, district spokesman Mark Dennis said.

Additional details about the threat, which was made by two students, was not disclosed.

Extra security was on campus despite authorities saying there was no credibility to the rumor.

No arrests have been made.
