O.C. Man Drives To Shell Gas Station For Help After Being Shot

CORONA (CBSLA.com) — A man who was shot managed to drive himself to a Shell Gas station in Corona for help, authorities said.

Corona police received a call about 10:04 p.m. of a wounded man and sent officers to the station in the 1800 block of W. 6th Street.

When they arrived, they located a Caucasian male in his early 40s.

The man from Orange County said he had been shot two to three blocks from the location.

He was treated at the scene but was subsequently transported to the hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Police said two suspects remained at large.

The investigation was ongoing.
